I am able to download the accounts info and the balances and transactions are correct.

However, even though the various investments are all showing correctly from a cost and actual value. The program continues to miscalculate the gain or loss on the various investments.

Anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it?

Quicken normally downloads historical prices for newly purchased securities. However if the securities are not publicly traded, it can't download the prices and will assume type price was zero pin the day before the purchase. This can affect the Day gain/loss calculations.

Does this explain your issue? If not, which calculations appear to be incorrect?

Since gain/loss is the difference between actual vale and cost basis, that statement is puzzling. “Miscalculates” based on what comparison? Some brokerage do not report gain/loss in retirement accounts the same way that do in regular accounts. Some investments get adjustments to basis values that the brokerage does not send to Quicken.

Please clarify what you are actually seeing.
