Income and Expense Reports
I'm new to Quicken. I just imported all my data from MS Money. I am trying to pull and income and expense report. The only choice I see is income and expense Comparison report which I ran and I am confused.
The Comparison report shows the net change in all my bank accounts and credit card accounts as Income or expense? I'm a retired CPA and the net change in a bank account or credit card is NOT Income or and expense. Why is it doing this?
What am I doing wrong?

Please do HELP, About Quicken and tell us which Q product you're using and the BUILD of that product.

I'm using 2001 since it was the only one I knew would convert MS Money files.
I did notice on the Category and Transfer List that all my Bank and Credit Card Accounts are Listed twice. Once as a Bank or Credit Card and listed again as Income or Expense. I'm not sure how that happened unless it was something done why I imported the MsMoney Files. I created them as only a Bank or Credit Card account. I'm wondering if deleting the Income and Expense ones will solve the issue but not sure if it will delete all the data?

I can't address your questions. But You should at least try to convert to the 2013 version since you don’t use any online services or download transactions now. Then it should run on newer versions of Windows. Starting in 2014 they instituted an ID password to get into your own data. I’m staying on 2013.
2013 should run on Newer Windows. You can download 2013 Deluxe for free using this how to convert article. It’s under Converting from Quicken 2004-2009. Link at bottomIf your version is 2003 or earlier you will need to first convert to 2004. Then convert to 2013. Read that whole article on converting.
And FYI - If your Quicken was before 2010 you should have several files making up the data. The main data file ends in .QDF. All Quicken versions prior to QW2010 store your data in a series of files all sharing the same filename but with different extensions like - .QDF .IDX, .QEL, .QPH and all 4 of those files were rolled into a single-file .QDF starting in 2010..
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

I found my problem. When I imported MS Money files, Quicken treated all account TRANSFERS as Income or Expense transactions. When I change them to transfers, it solves the issue but there are tons of them to change.0
