how to track credit card / account Interest

Is there a way to add credit card interest rate? With out this info, who are you supposed to be able to create an accurate budget? I get that you can go to the account settings - and add to the notes (even description,) but this does nothing.

If your question is asking if Quicken can calculate your credit card interest charges and add them to your budget automatically, the answer is no, this functionality doesn't exist.

Without this info, how are you supposed to be able to create an accurate budget?

First, we understand that your credit card balance varies from month to month, and therefore your interest charges do as well. For budgeting purposes, you need to enter an amount manually for the Interest Paid category you are using. You might look at your past few months of actual interest expense and take the average of those months to have a month value to enter in your budget.
