Duplicated Accounts and/or Wiped Out Opening Balances & CC-501 Error [Edited]
Today quicken just duplicated accounts and/or wiped out opening balances for most of my accounts making them off by hundreds or thousands of dollars. I have so far been rebuilding everything, again, after remvoing the online services and starting back to add them in. Now, I am getting CC-501 errors on some accounts. I probably had this issue just about a month ago, that time I just created an entirely new profile.

Beginning/Opening Balance -
yup… there appears to be a random bug that changes the Beginning/Opening Balance to some other number.
Suggestion is to - go thru each of your Quicken accounts and scoll to the Beginning/Opening Balance, and copy that amount into the Memo field for safe keeping -

They still have the bug where you cannot apply the Mondo patch if the username has a space in it. In trying to resolve my issues this morning, I un-enrolled my accounts and all of them that do not use the bank login browser page (the ones that use the old method), Every. Single. One. is giving a CC-501 error. [Removed - Speculation]

Why don't you simply rename your Q file to remove that space??? It's actually a Win issue, not a Q issue.

I thought it was an issue with the Windows User name -
and the temp installation files that it creates when doing a software install.0 -
But we know that Q doesn't like spaces, symbols, etc in file names … and MY Windows User name has a space in it, but no problems with updates.

It is a username in it, and the files in under the user folder are also impact since they are within that path. This impact Quicken. I cannot state this is a Microsoft or Windows issue though since the issue only occurs with Quicken. I have not encountered a single issue with any other program that results due to having a space in my username. [Removed - Speculation] Changing my username and/or renaming my user folder is not a solution. That was just a problem with trying to install the Mondo patch. Quicken itself is full of bugs.
It changes my due dates. It changes the time frame that I am viewing my bills. It changes how I like to sort my register by reconciled instead of date. These are bugs that get worse, not better. Anytime you contact Quicken support it is always a corrupt file. You need a new data file, etc. It is never a corrupt data file as I can create a new file on a new windows install, with a new quicken install, and recreate the issue almost at will.
