Quicken Compatibility between Windows 10 and Windows 11

I have Quicken installed on my desktop computer and a laptop computer and have been able to restore a backup files back and forth between the 2 devices. I recently replaced my Windows 10 laptop with the Windows 11 laptop. Now I am not able to cleanly restore backups between the two machines. The downloads from the financial institutions no longer cleanly download and open. Is there a compatibility problem with Quicken Starter version between Windows 10 and Windows 11?

I'm not aware of any such compatibility problems.

But, have you compared your network settings including your Antivirus, Firewall and/or Windows Defender settings? A missing firewall permission can make your day.

Also please tell us more about the exact nature of the problems.

For quite a while, until I recently updated the laptop to Win11, I moved Quicken files back and forth between the Win11 desktop and the Win10 laptop easily and everything worked fine, so I'd say that there isn't a compatibility problem
