Can you give an example of a payee that is no longer being categorized, along with the memorized payee you are expecting will do the categorization?

    Baffling to me. 🤔

    Thanks for any suggestions

What are your preference settings for categorizing transactions?

Edit to add a link to the in product help for download transaction categorization settings:

Anyone have any ideas on how to get Quicken to add Category to my downloads? 15+ years worked OK, then about a month ago Q stopped automatically categorizing transactions,🤣

It sure looks like all your settings are correct. Maybe try some generic troubleshooting steps, like rebooting computer and validating your data.

Your Payee List shows that "The Home Depot #0812 …" was last used on 2/23/23, SO I suspect some sort of mismatch between what's downloaded and that list.

See if RENAMING RULES, to shorten the name to just "THE HOME DEPOT, when the downloaded name contains that phrase, helps. You''ll also need to change the Payee List to the shorter name.

And sorry, but this action isn't retroactive.
