Reconcile does not consider pending transactions

Question

I have been a user for 8 years.  When i reconcile the pending transactions are subtracted from bank balance but not considered in the reconciliation process,  Noe every time I reconcile a balance adjustment is required. I do not recall this in the past.  Please  help me with this confusion.  Chase Bank and Wells Fargo

Some banks have started, erroneously, including the amount of Pending TXN in their Balance amounts but not downloading those txn … making reconciling to the downloaded amount nearly impossible.

Until your bank straightens this out, the only remedy is to reconcile ONLY to the paper statement
