How to handle - Quicken posting of a stock PUT transaction (edit)

How to post stock cost if the stock was PUT to you, the put is a profit ($.70) and the stock cost is a expense ($2.50), quicken post as two transactions. Is there any way to link them as 1 trade to match the brokers numbers ($1.80).

There's no "Quicken wizard" that's sophisticated enough to do that. One thing you could do is cover the short at that same $.70 for no gain or loss and then change the Buy to the $1.80.
