Citi problems err CC-502 yet site is up

I have a Citi card, and my use is light, so I haven't paid much attention to it in Quicken while I've dealt with other issues (which hopefully are mostly resolved). Tonight I noticed that I've had no downloaded transactions in 2 months (and that's not good). So I went for a RESET. After a couple minutes, it came back with error CC-502 AND it cleared out my userid and password. Now what makes this baffling is that citi.com is working perfectly, yet the rror means that the Citibank website is temporarily unavailable. Any thoughts?
