Account Balances Report

doesn't agree with the source data. If I look at the security detail in the bad report it's showing balances in securities that were sold long, long ago. Don't understand why it can't sum numbers…

    Are the balances small fractions of shares, as might come from a rounding issue, or are they significant?

    Do the sold securities show up elsewhere in Quicken - in the account when you click on Holdings? in the Net Worth report? in the Investing > Portfolio Value report? in the Account bar?

    The balances are significant. They do not appear in Holdings. They do appear in Net Worth report and Account Balances. Not in Portfolio Value report. Not in the Account Bar. Randomness…

    OK thanks. The first thing I would try would be to back up your data, then go to File > Validate and Repair file and validate with the Validate file and Rebuild investing lts options selected.

    If that does not fix it, please post back for more things to try.
