Previously closed account now shows a negative balance

Suddenly, an account (for a previous mortgage) that has been closed for many years now shows a -$200 balance and this shows up in the "more accounts".

Not sure how this could happen as the account has been $0 for many years and I cannot figure out any way to alter the balance or even see the register since it is closed. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks guys.

Did you delete/change a transaction that was a transfer into the Mtg account?

No, I do not recall doing that. But since you mentioned it, I ran a report and listed all the transactions for that account. There was a principal adjustment made back in 2007 that I was able to alter to get the final balance to $0.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
