Updating memorized payees list

Question

I have recently updated my categories and eliminated one that is used for many Memorized payees.  Is there a way to modify the category  in the memorized list? I know I could modify each individually but it would be good if there was a way all could be done as a group.  I have many memorized payees where the category needs to be changed.

Thanks for your response.  I took a category and split it in two new categories.  Thus, renaming won't work

If you rename Categories rather than creating new ones, they should change everywhere they are used, including past transactions. That won't work if you are combining Categories though.
