Imported accounts incorrectly categorized

I imported accounts from .QIF and they were all categorized as personal spending. Loan accounts and my mortgage are "personal spending" If I try to edit the account in "Account Intent" it only gives me the option to change it to spending, savings, investment, retirement, or asset.
It won't let me change it to a loan nor will it let me pull it down to the Liability section.

Create a new account manually with the desired "account intent" and them move the transactions from old to new.
