Reconciling Interest

Recently I have noticed that when I reconcile my bank statements, the interest entry does not go from a "C" to an "R". I enter the interest for the month in the "Interest earned box with the date that shows on the statement. It shows up in the Reconcile window with a check mark next to it and it is bolded. Once I have balanced the statement and click done, all of the entries go from "C" to "R" except the interest. The "C" remains and I have to manually change it from a "C" to the "R." Any ideas????

What version are you running? (Help > About Quicken) Have you "recently" updated your version?

I just tried that in my Quicken (several "versions' behind the latest) and it worked fine. It might be a "version" problem. If that's the case then reverting to an earlier version should fix that, or you could continue on manually changing the c to an R until Quicken recognizes the problem and fixes it.
