What does this error mean. I validated today (Release 51.12 Build 27.1.51.12).
This sort of error has been reported a few times in this community with both SuperUsers and Quicken mods responding and I can't say that any of these posts that I looked at can answer "What does this error mean." It seems like most of the posts concerning this message just petered out without a resolution. I'd guess that the best way to get a direct answer to your question would be to contact Official Quicken Support.

Chatted with Quicken Support just now and got the following answer: "It is hard to explain, they are download records that Quicken could not associate a register entry with. You probably won't notice any effect."

Thanks for sending that information along, and it doesn't seem all that hard to explain, does it? It sounds like some link between a "download" and its associated actual Register entry has somehow been broken, but as long as the transaction is really in the Register and your current balance is correct it appear like a minor, non-fatal issue.
