In my downloaded transaction, I want to not erase the memo field when I select a memorized payee. I have nothing in the Memo field of the memorized payee

If a memorized payee has a blank memo, Quicken will put whatever is in the downloaded memo in that field.

The only way I have found to get around that is to have a "." in the memorized payee memo field. I know it is not blank, but it is as minimal as you can get.

Go to your register, press CTRL-SHIFT-E, and select the Online Services tab. At the bottom left, choose how Quicken should treat a downloaded memo.
