CONNECT THE DOTS

Am I missing a setting? When viewing the Security Detail View for a security, the dots remain unconnected for any time less than a year in the price history view..Makes it difficult to see small changes in price.. Why?

Looking at the graph it looks like the reason they are doing that is because they are displaying the high/low for the day when the time period is less than a year:

yes it answered it but I would like the option to view both possibilities. Quicken has the info. All I need is the line chart. Should be able to get it in a piece of software I am paying for. It’s free on yahoo and everywhere else. Why have to leave the program to get it. While I’m ranting… why must the charts end on closed items. Prevents a lot of “ What if” scenarios.

Well, I see you entered this in new to Quicken. On that score I will tell you that just because you pay for Quicken doesn't mean that it will do everything you dream of. It certainly has its limitations and "focus", which might be different than yours.

With that being said the way Quicken Inc takes suggestions in this forum is by entering it as a "New Idea", so that it can be voted on. Go to the Home page and select New Post → New Idea.

P.S. I suggest that if you have more than one suggestion that you post each in a New Idea, because if they are all in one post people can see what they would be voting for and Quicken Inc wouldn't be able to decide on a priority for a given suggestion.
