Paypal and Venmo not Downloading

For a week or so, neither my Paypal nor Venmo accounts are downloading to Quicken. They are selected in one-step update and other accounts & financial institutions continue to download. For quite a while they worked fine. I didn't see any current issues when searching the forum. Can you offer any advice or troubleshooting tips?

    Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. What is your connection method with Paypal and Venmo? You can see the connection method by navigating to Tools > Account List. When did you first notice this issue? After a recent update? If so, which update? Do you receive any error codes or messages? What exactly is occurring?

    Account List shows Express Web Connect for PayPal and Express Web Connect+ for Venmo. Last download date is shown there as 8/9/23 at 10:37 AM. Also noticed that Discover is also having the same problem with Express Web Connect being its download method with the same last download date. It could be related to a recent update. My current is version R51.12, build 27.1.51.12. There are no error codes generated. One Step Update cycles through all my accounts seemingly normally, but PayPal, Venmo and Discover are simply not retrieved. Thanks for you help!

    If you haven't done so already, it is a good idea to start by following the steps in this article on when transactions are missing or new transactions aren't downloading.

    There is a known issue with updating and connecting to Discover. You can track that issue by bookmarking this Community Alert. If you do not see the bookmark icon at the upper right, please make sure you are logged into the Community.

    Hello, My Paypal and Venmo accounts appear to be working now. However, I tried the fix for Discover in the Community Alert you referenced, but I am still getting a connection error after logging out of my Quicken ID and logging back in.

For the Discover issue, if logging out of your Quicken and back in again did not correct the issue, I recommend that you reach out to Quicken Support directly for further assistance as they can walk you through troubleshooting steps in real-time and escalate the situation as needed.  The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here.
