Green RESET button keeps appearing randomly in my various registers

The green RESET button keeps appearing randomly and wasting my time. How can I stop this from happening?

I have about 10 registers each for Banking and Investing. Randomly when I switch to the new Banking register, the green RESET button appears. This happens a lot when I am switching back and forth between checking and a credit card, as an example.

It's frustrating because it messes up searches, where I search for all occurrences that match my search settings.

I have gone through account settings, and I can't find anything to turn off this RESET button from appearing. A web search didn't turn up anything useful.

I am using R5.12 Premier, and Quicken auto-updates the program.

Been using Quicken (and TurboTax) since DOS days in 1990s. Now using Quicken subscription on Windows.

There is no setting to turn off the Reset button, and at least for me it is certainly not random. It appears whenever there is any kind of filtering set to something other than the default, and that includes something typed into the register search box.
