No option to delete a security symbol!?

I can't delete a security in Canadian quicken. There is no option for 'delete'. Anyone know why or how to delete it?

As long as there's a single investment transaction using this duplicate security, you cannot delete it from the Security List.
Locate all transactions using the incorrect security and change the security name to the correct one.

i clicked on the duplicate security, the bottom one, and it shows no transactions. It seems delete option is missing even for blank symbols?

looks like they both have the same symbol as V.

Clicking on the blue text link, the security's name, brings up the Security Detail view.
If it has no transactions to show, then there's got to be something wrong.
Have you validated and supervalidated your Quicken data file?

And if that doesn't clear things up call Quicken Support and let them try to figure it out.

Ok, I think I found the issue. It shows no transactions because the account linked to it was closed. It's described here -
