How do I stop a backup link being put on my desktop?

After a recent Quicken update, a link to by backup appears on my Desktop, every time I close/save/backup.

Looking at my preferences>backup, and checking my backup save location, it shows as it should, to my Quicken>backup location. Nothing says anything about a Desktop location. How can I make it stop doing this… it is a pain to keep having make sure I delete the Desktop link.

Having had Quicken on my Win 10 for years, this is something just recently appearing.

This sounds like it's the automatic backup. So where is your Q data file located? The automatic backup wou d be in the same place.
