file export not working in quicken starter

I would like to transfer a file using file export. but quicken starter does not work HELP

    We need more details. Exactly what are you trying to do? Transfer what file and export it to where? A Quicken data file ending in .qdf? Are you trying to move your data file or the Quicken program to another computer? You can make a report and export it to Excel etc. Are you trying to make a QIF or QXF file to export? Also the Starter Edition has several limitations and that might be one of them. If you can post a screen shot of where it's not working, that would help.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    Also, please provide the exact steps you are taking to try to do the export.
