The company was formerly known as Raytheon Technologies Corporation
and changed its name to RTX Corporation in July 2023.

So, the "name" change is merely cosmetic, and doesn't really get reflected anywhere -

There is no requirement that the name of a security within Quicken match the name used by any brokerage or other source. Thus, Raytheon Technologies in your Quicken recordkeeping could be what one broker still calls Raytheon Corp and another might now call RTX Corp, or another RTX Corporation.

The matching to the brokerage info is through a CUSIP identifier.

in the Security List - can’t you just Edit the security and change the name/text to whatever you want … I’ve changed most to a shorter name

Yes that's right. I have changed the names for my securities to add the ticker symbol at the beginning, like GE-General Electric. It is also very helpful to distinguish between mutual funds with names like Vanguard Blah Blah Blah Fund Investor Shares and Vanguard Blah Blah Blah Fund Admiral Shares
