Popup after reconciling an investment account

On some of my investments account, after a reconciliation, I get a popup that says I should enter a valid date. Nothing happens after I click on OK.

Sometimes, in my other accounts, in addition, it creates a placeholder entry with $0 and 0 shares and asks me to enter the name of a security. I then delete the placeholder entry.

Net: No impact other than I have to do extra mouse clicks and a delete.

any ideas?
