R52.28 Reports memo field no longer able to be used to filter reports?

I upgraded from Quicken Business & Personal Release 51.12 to Release 52.28 (Build 27.1.52.28), the newly branded'Classic', on Sunday, October 1, 2023, on my Windows computer.

In versions prior to Release 52.28, the use of wildcards '..' (including...) and '~' (excluding...) would be recognized within a report's 'Tags' tabbed page's 'Matching Payee, Matching Tag contains:, and/or Matching Memo contains:' field(s).

Now however, with Release 52.28:

  1. Although these same wildcards are recognized within the 'Matching Payee and/or Matching Tag contains:' fields, the wildcards are no longer being recognized in the Matching Memo contains:' field; and
  2. Even using a memo field's exact contents (no wildcards) in a report's 'Memo contains' matching field, no records are filtered out.
    The conclusion is that a report's 'Memo' field is no longer being recognized as a filterable entity like it has been in all versions prior to Release 52.28!

This observation was further verified by restoring a back-up file that was created using Version 51.12. Once restored, the restored file now shows as being Release 52.28 when it opens, and the same wildcard characteristics as noted above continue to occur.

This issue needs to be resolved quickly please. Thank you.
