Update and poof

I opened my Quicken and there proceeded an automatic update. The message was: your data has been automatically backed up. So, when I then went to open the program, there was nothing. It was empty as if I was beginning the software anew as a brand new customer. I have attempted to recover and open from the Cloud. Nothing. Can anyone help me, please. Thanks😫

    Try restarting your computer.

Look for the backup in a folder named BACKUP where you keep your Quicken data file. It should have the original name plus the date and time along with the release number of the prior version before the software update.
