Bank Reconciliation

I'm trying to balance my savings account and a transaction shows up on my register, but not on the reconciliation page. So I'm off by that amount and I don't want to have Quicken do an automatic fix. I forgot what it is called, but it wanted to do that to balance and which would make it all off by twice as much. I tried shutting Quicken down, but when I go back on it's all still there even after trying to delete the reconciliation and starting over.

Is it possibly dated after the date you entered on the Reconcile parameters window? If so, change to a later date when entering the parameters.

no it was dated before statement date. checked it right away.
