Are they currently in the one account or are they in separate accounts and you want to combine them into one account? Or is this a merger where one company acquired another? Perhaps you're referring to a situation, like a 529 Plan, where the custodian - maybe a mutual fund family - has created a quasi-security that is a blend of two actual mutual funds, and all reporting to you of purchases, sales or market value refers only to the quasi-security? If that's what you're facing then you are forced to use only the quasi-security in all transactions and all transactions must be entered manually. There's no way in Quicken to blend two real securities into a new security that would allow automatic downloads of transactions.
