    Please clarify your question. Are the two securities the same company in the real world? Are they currently in the one account or are they in separate accounts and you want to combine them into one account? Or is this a merger where one company acquired another? More details are needede to offer you a rationale path.

    Perhaps you're referring to a situation, like a 529 Plan, where the custodian - maybe a mutual fund family - has created a quasi-security that is a blend of two actual mutual funds, and all reporting to you of purchases, sales or market value refers only to the quasi-security? If that's what you're facing then you are forced to use only the quasi-security in all transactions and all transactions must be entered manually. There's no way in Quicken to blend two real securities into a new security that would allow automatic downloads of transactions.
