Citi Bank download problem

Member ✭✭

For over a week, I get the error message "A problem has occurred." when I download Citi Bank credit. I'm using Deluxe Ver. R52.33 Build 27.1.52.33 on a Windows 11 computer. There are numerous accounts that work just fine, and I haven't seen any problems with this or other accounts for a long time. A super validation did not find any errors.

Any suggestions?

I worked with Tech Support this morning and they were very helpful. It turns out that Citi doesn't work using Direct Connect, but Quicken allows it to be set up that way for some reason. After I went into the Edit/Delete Account and changed the connection method to Express Web Connect, everything worked. The only glitch I see is that if I look at Edit/Delete Account again, it says that it must be changed to Direct Connect. As long as it's working, I'm not going to worry about it.

Is there an Error code associated with this message?

After that error message did Quicken close?

If so, Quicken crashed while trying to do that operation.

EDIT: I would use Help → Submit a Problem, and also contact Quicken support about this problem:

No. The OSU completes normally but does not report the error on the final screen. Everything else seems normal.

    Very strange.

Mine was working until about a week ago and then just stopped working. We mortals are not intended to understand….
