Why are split transaction reminders not properly sorted by date when viewing register with reminders

Scenario:

Given these example reminders:

10th:Electric bill:$100
20th:Water bill:$30
30th:Mortgage:$1500 (where mortgage is split to be principal and interest)

When viewing the next 90 days, all three mortgage reminders get sorted to be ahead of all the electric and water bills (specifically because they are split transactions).
This results in the projected balance being highly pessimistic and not reflecting reality.

I am a long time quicken user and this did not used to be the case.
I depend on this to project when my checking will get low but this gives bad data.

This is a bug (IMHO)

Anyone else having this issue?

Cheers!

Is your register sorted by Date or by Payee? It sounds like it it might be sorted by Payee.
