Crazy Quicken Support Call

Something has happened to the Quicken Support number. I called the Quicken Support phone number listed on the Quicken web page [Removed - Incorrect Support Phone Number] and have no clue who is answering the phone for them but first they make a bogus offer of a 100.00 gift card but want you to give them a CC number so you can pay $2.95 for shipping of the card. I refused and refused 4 itmes and I never got to a support person. The last person I talked to wanted my address, my age, etc. personal information and stated he could not offer technical support. This is totally unacceptable and Quicken is messing up badly. Give the support line a call and see what you get.

You got the area code wrong. It's 650, not 605.

I would love to see the URL for that web page you found. To see if it is in fact from Quicken Inc and to see where the phone number is, in general Quicken Inc doesn't put its phone number on its web pages.

Actually, I just found the About Us page does have it:

https://www.quicken.com/about-us

It is interesting that the scammers have taken out the 605 number so that if someone puts it in wrong, they get the scammer instead of Quicken Inc.

EDIT: Would still like to see the URL used, it might be a totally fake website with just that one digit switched!

If you would like to report this incident, I would recommend sending an email to spoof@quicken.com. Please include any details you have available, including the incorrect phone number and the URL you got that incorrect phone number from, if possible.
