Custom Report--category won't go away

A simple report I do (income vs. expense) persists in showing a Category even though I uncheck the Category in the Customize Report "wheel".

I have redone the report, opened and closed Quicken, Save As.. etc. Still there. I don't want to delete the Category.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thank you

thanks to all. I was able to fix the glitch. not sure what worked but it is fixed.

    trial and error changes:

discarded the saved report and started a new one.

toggled the offending category several times.

adjusted the "budgeted only" setting in the report.

Please go to Help > About Quicken and let us know what version and edition (Deluxe, Premier, etc.) of Quicken you are running.

What is the name of the unwanted Category? Is it a Category that you use sometimes?

If you go to Tools > Category List, is the Category marked as Hidden?

    Classic Deluxe. R52 33.

The category is called Debt Service (it is not an Account). I don't use it but have in the past. some old transactions used this category.

in Cat List is was hidden. I've tried it both ways and that doesn't effect it.

If you right click on the category in the Category List and there isn't a delete for it, then that is a built-in category, and you can't delete it.
