Payee vs Statement Payee

For transactions dowloaded for a credit card account, some transactions for different statement payees show the payee as the same generic name i.e. Miltons. Is there a way to set a rule where the payee can be set to automatically use the statement payee OR
Can future releases include the ability in Reports to choose between Statement Payee or Payee??

Go to >Tools >Renaming Rules >Select the payee then create the rule.

There's no way to do what you want globally, but you can create Renaming Rules for selected Payees to name the Payee exactly what you want or, optionally, not to rename it from the downloaded Statement Payee name.
Set up "do not rename" rules for any problematic Payees, and you should have what you want.
