Account not showing on category list

I have a mortgage loan account & also a mortgage asset account added to Quicken for windows. Both appear on the Account List in Quicken. When I do a transfer from my checking account, the mortgage loan account does not appear on the category list. Even when I do a split transaction to track the principal and interest of the payment. The category list does not show my mortgage loan account.

Is the mortgage loan Account a connected, downloading loan? If it is then by design you can't make entries into that Account, and maybe that's the source of your problem. (Just a guess as I've never had a connected, downloading loan.)
