    I bought Quicken 2018 and a new computer and did not use it and the computer went bad I JUST GOT A NEW ONE would like to use this program and it well not laid.

    Any subscription that you got with your purchase of QW2018 has definitely expired, so you would not be able to install any release after the subscription expired.

    Where did you get your installation program?

    if your intent is to get Quicken up and running -
    I would forget the 2018 you have - and just go with the current 202x Subscription -

    Did you get as far as creating a Quicken email ID with the purchase of the Quicken 2018 - if so - it has expired -
    and you will need to purchase a new current 1 year subscription.
    If not - then you will also need to create a Quicken email ID - as part of the Quicken purchase….
