Reset Pin Vault PLEASE HELP
About 2 months ago, after an update, my pin vault password did not auto populate. I set up the account mid January '23 around 2 am & file where I had vault PW has been "eaten by the dog". JK Quicken user for 25+ yrs, but stopped about 5 years ago. Started '23 with a simplifi account that is now a QClassic Dlx. Using Dell, i7, running Windows 11 home.

To reset the Password Vault:
Tools → Password Vault → Reset Vault
A couple of things to note. First off Quicken Simplifi and Quicken Classic are completely different products.
The second is that these days only accounts setup with Direct Connect store their usernames and passwords in the Password Vault. Web Connect/QFX (no credentials), Express Web Connect (username and password stored on the Intuit server, Intuit is Quicken Inc's aggregator), Express Web Connect +, username and password aren't used, Intuit and the financial institution use a rotating security token after your authorized the connection with the financial institution.
