Date global display in YYYY/MM/DD format

Is this possible in Windows version? After all, it is the ANSI, ISO, Canadian, and NIST standards (since 1969) and the only logical way to represent dates, from most significant to least significant, just like thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones for currency. If not currently possible, could it be on the list of future enhancements?

The dates in Quicken follow whatever you have set for your Windows short date format.

Note that having your date in YYYY/MM/DD format might mean that some of the shortcuts for changing the date using the keyboard might not work. Like + will not advance the day by one.

If you use slash as the delimiter instead of dash, the keyboard shortcuts +/- to increment/decrement the date will work.

wow, that really works! and it will be set globally I assume. Thanks.

I see the format options of 17/04/05 or 2017-04-05

Indeed, with the 2 digit year and slash delimiter, the + or - on incrementing or decrementing the date works, but as you noted with the - delimiter, it does not work.

I would like to have a 4 digit year and the slash delimiter but can't seem to do that. It is not one of the choices given to me.

The settings for the short date in this place are very limited (and based on what region you have set like US or Canada), but there is the old fall back "Control Panel" like settings.

You can either go through Control Panel → Region

Or select the "Administrative language settings" on the Time & Language → Language & Region window.

    Select Formats tab:

    Additional settings… → Date tab

Here you can yyyy/M/dd for the Short date.
