I’d like to now the correct way to change the units in my mutual fund.

The fund was converted recently by the platform I use and the message said “You received .937029 units for every 1.000000 unit previously held. The value of your holding has remained the same. “

I’m using a MacBook Pro macOS 10.15.7, Quicken Classic DeLuxe, Version 7.3.2

I would enter that as a Stock Split transaction, with a ratio of 0.937029 to 1.

Jon, thanks. I'll look into that. QuickPeter

Jon, nearly there. When I executed the Stock Split transaction, the number of shares in Portfolio view did not change?

At least Net Worth stayed the same.

    Any ideas please? QuickPeter

I don't know, it works for me. Check the date on the Portfolio view & make sure it's after the date of the stock split.

Portfolio view date is 28/11/23 (UK format, I know).

Stock Split date shown in Transactions view 24/04/23 (I just posted the data today).

    That looks ok doesn't it?

I've tried to get through to Quicken.com for help. They don't like emails do they?

Problems again with my password. I had to re-set it, again. Still does not like it. Will try later.

    I'm thinking about :

    1. going through the Stock Split guidance in "Help" again - quite comprehensive and easy to follow.
    2. a work-around. "Sell" difference in share quantity arising from conversion for $0.00

Will the latter work? But I should not have to do this should I? QuickPeter

There is no Quicken Support available via email. There is free telephone support, and free text chat support. Email isn't useful because so many issues involve back and forth which are better suited to live conversation (via phone or chat) than emailing back and forth.

    Ok noted, thanks.

I've never used Quicken Support anyway. I just rely on you and the other experts on the Community.

I don't know how I would have managed without that support. Excellent. QuickPeter
