How to get community tech help

I created a well written and non controversial post earlier today. I later was attempting to edit a typo, and I was told I still had 18 hours to edit. After that attempt, I received a very unprofessional and unhelpful auto dialog: "Permission Problem You need the Vanilla.Discussions.Edit permission to do that." Now there is no record of my post, just a reference to a comment on it, but that url is now gone

Quicken Support and moderators are off for Thanksgiving until Friday. The message you received was from Vanilla, the provider of this forum. Vanilla is notorious for various technical issues and limitations.
