I have a manual brokerage account tracking values of a security. I use this account as part of a savings goal as well. I had just opened a new account and added it to Quicken and went to set it up the same way and noticed that this option is not in the Action Menu for the investment accounts. It is still available in the regular accounts.

Does anyone remember if this was ever an option on the Investment type accounts, or was the savings goal transactions just always there? Just trying to remember if this changed or not.

It has never been an option to use investment accounts for Savings Goals.

It really doesn't make sense since the kinds of transactions in an investment account would really complicate what to show and not show with such a toggle.
