Pentagon Federal CU Unable to Download Again: Nov 27, 2023

CC-502: Day 4 of reconciling all my accounts from an Excel download because of Quicken's inability to download directly Quicken and Quicken not supporting OFX from PenFed who does not download in QFX format. Yep, I'm downloading an excel file and entering transactiona manually in to my Quicken register, back to the 80's, thanks Quicken. At day 30 of needing to do this I will start investigating alternatives to Quicken after being a user since the early 90s.

This is after multiple years of Quicken and PenFed having issues communicating and not coordinating. I know this is not easy, but this is your business and you need to figure it out as this is something I pay for every year.

    I'm having the same program - as it appears are many others reporting issues here.

    While talking to PenFed CU today I noticed the .QFX download extension is still offered for my savings accounts, just not for my credit card account. The PenFed customer service representative advised me their download documentation was recently updated and apparently the .QFX file extension format is no longer a download option for credit card transactions. The representative said she could not find a published work around to download credit card transactions, and submitted an IT trouble ticket to see if they could offer any suggestions.

    I was able to download PenFed Credit Card QFX via PenFed transaction download page (see below), however, note that for credit cards, the transaction signs are REVERSED!

    I've created an urgent feature request asking quicken to add a "reverse" transaction checkbox to the QFX file import dialog, embedded in the post above
