Reconcile

Question

I download account activity from Chase. when I tried to reconcile l was off by 551.36. I discovered a charge for 552.42 had not downloaded. When I manually entered the charge I was off by 18.94. When I entered the 551.36 the account reconciled.  What’s going on??

Do you have txn that are recorded after the Reconcile As-of date that are marked at "R"?

When did you last reconcile this account?  Did you need to input a "balance adjustment" then?

Are you reconciling to a paper statement from Chase? Or the online balance (which is frequently wrong)?
