Quicken Deluxe; Crashing on Windows 10 Pro platform.

Since latest updates, Quicken Deluxe crashes constantly using Windows 10 Pro. R53.16. ; 27.1.53.16.

Crash will even manifest itself when creating a new Quicken file. Crash occurs when I attempt to add the first account. So far Quicken support folks (more than 3 hours on the phone with them) have been unable to determine the problem. Crashes do not occur on Windows 10 Home platform.

Do you have Controlled Folder Access enabled in Windows Defender?

If you are experiencing issues with a new Quicken data file, the problem is not with Quicken and you probably have a Windows corruption issue. I'd start troubleshooting by running SFC /scannow and/or DISM to repair any possible missing files or corrupted files.
