Quicken Classic for Mac need to add "Show cash in a checking account". This was first reported in 2019 to the Quicken Forum and has been neglected since then. Personally, what I think they need to do is fix the converter to remerge checking account into the investment account. Quicken Mac doesn't suffer from the same problems Quicken windows does. The main reason that Quicken Windows needed a separate account is because it's investment account register was so limited. With The Quicken Mac investment account you can do all the checking kinds of transactions without leaving it and going to a virtual checking account.
