tabulate new payees

when entering payees, in the past they would tabulate for future use, now they dont. how can i do this?

    Are you referring to the "memorized payees" list here? That feature is controlled under Edit > Preferences…

    Perhaps "Automatically memorize new payees" has gotten unchecked>
