Toolbar Button Behavior Change?
Quicken Classic for Windows running release R53.32
Maybe I'm losing my mind, but since the last release, or maybe when the rename to Quicken Classic happened - I can't seem to access a toolbar button that used to show my bills and income transactions with a 90 day (as I configured it) run chart in the bottom of the window.
I have edited the toolbar, and have checked the box to show all available buttons available for the toolbar in the Customize Toolbar window. I still can't find a button that does what I recall.
Now the buttons will bring up only 30 day bar graphs that aren't as informative for me. On the old run chart i could hover the mouse over a point on the graph and a box would pop up telling me of the transactions that happened or will happen on that date to change the balance.
Does any of this sound familiar to other users? Any suggestions would appreciated.
Sincerely,
Greg

I see the Bills & Income report I think you are referring to does allow showing 90-days of Reminders but the chart does not change from 30-days. I do not recall what kind of flexibility might have been there in the past since I've almost always keep my setting at 30-days but since I can change the number of days of Reminders to show a variety of different time frames it seems that the graph should also change to reflect that. No matter what change I make to the number of days of Reminders to the shown, the number of days in the graph remains static at 30-days. This does seem like it might be broken. Since you are confident about this you might want to consider going to Help > Report A Problem and submit this as an issue. The Quicken Team does review problems that are submitted and will take appropriate action regarding this if they can confirm the issue on their end.
In the meantime, have you looked at the Projected Balances sub-tab under the Bills & Income tab? It's a bit different with a line chart at the top and all of the Reminders shown below it. You can scroll the Reminders up and down while the line chart remains stable. And you can select that 90-days window you want and that will be reflected in both the line chart and in the Reminders. Just an idea on an alternative until Quicken fixes the one you want.
Another option would be to continue using the button you want but change the Time Range to 30-days and scroll forward month-to-month. Not ideal but at least you keep the same type of chart.

Solved - when the last update happened for me, the toolbar with buttons was turned on. This hides the tabs that allowed me access to the planning, and the bills and income graph I was looking for.

Thanks for your quick post on this. That definitely is the screen I can not currently access. Now that I see your screen, i realize that since my most recent update I no longer have the ability to use the planning, and budgeting features. I may have been accidentally downgraded to the starter edition. I will try re-installing the program, and then contacting Quicken if that doesn't help.
Thanks again,
Greg
