I'm trying to update my Investment Accounts from Edward Jones and the accounts are not being seen. I deleted the accounts and when I tried to re-download only one of the accounts is seen not any of the others. I saw that the One Step Update is having issues with the Mac version, but I do not see anything for the windows version. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Last download that was successful for me was beginning of December. Thank you.

"I deleted the accounts and when I tried to re-download only one of the accounts is seen not any of the others. "

I hope you made a backup just before you deleted the Edward Jones Accounts, because deleting an Account and then re-adding it as a "new" Account means that (most likely) you're not going to get transactions that stretch all the way back to when the account was opened, you'll only get a limited amount of recent transactions. (The last 90 days of transactions is a common window.) If you just did this "today" then I'd open that backup file and try again.

There are a couple "Edward Jones" entities in the fidir.txt file:

    00823 00823 00823 Edward Jones https://www.edwardjones.com/index.html 1-800-441-5203 https://www.edwardjones.com/index.html ACTIVE INVESTMENT,ACCOUNTINFO&DIRECT ACCOUNTINFO,INVESTMENT&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA

    61377 61377 61377 Edward Jones - Credit Card https://www.edwardjonescreditcard.com NA https://www.myaccountaccess.com/onlineCard/login.do ACTIVE CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA

so perhaps you're pointing to the wrong "Edward Jones" here, maybe the credit card Edward Jones?

If you start over the first thing I'd try is to RESET the Accounts.

Looking at the two Edward Jones entities I see that the investment arm uses the Direct Connect method and the Express Web Connect method for downloading. Which downloading method have you been using? Of the two methods I'd say that Direct Connect seems to work better than EWC. Usually where a Financial Institution offers two downloading methods the "Online Services" tab will show this information, so if you've been using EWC then moving over to DC would be ideal.

My EJ downloads are working as expected. There was something downloaded on Saturday, 12/30, and when I tried today, OSU reported 0 transactions downloaded, but that was expected since there was no new activity.

My connection is Direct Connect with EJ.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I did create a backup before I deleted the accounts. I'm not worried about transaction history as I mainly use it for a very rough estimate of the networth and balances. For some reason, my EJ accounts are never 100% accurate for the balances within EJ. When a sell/buy happens for one of the retirement accounts, it puts a transaction for a fund that I don't have for the sell and it throws off the balances. So periodically I will delete and re-create the accounts. There are a lot of placeholder entries within the Quicken accounts because of this.

I am using DC to EJ, and resetting the accounts (after I restored the backup) allowed me to re-link. There is still one account not showing though. I have two accounts that are strictly CDs and those are showing wrong balances. For ex a $1000 cd is showing as $100,000 balance. I don't know why, I've started having these issues with EJ, i much prefer my known issue of the weird place holder entries only.

(I assume this CD is in an Investment type Account.) Are you referring to the cost basis figure or the Market Value figure? I'd expect that the cost basis should be correct given that it's a simple cash purchase. If it's the Market Value figure then I'd expect it would be easy to say why the balance is $100,000 since it's a calculated figure based on (# of shares) x (per share price) so if it's a nice even $100K it simply has to be an error in quantity or price, or both.

Problems along this line are frequently reported for bonds as the Bonds Bought action's "cost per bond" figure is based on price "per $100" (and it multiplies the number of shares purchased by 10) and not all brokers download prices using this convention, resulting in Market Values that frequently are 100 times "off" the correct value.

Yes, the new accounts that have this issue are CD only accounts, the others are fund accounts (Traditional/ROTH). I did correct the CD accounts by adjusting the quantity.

Thanks for your insight with my issues.
