Cloud Sync changing budget

This seems to be a known problem. I can spend lot of time setting up my budget, but as soon as I sync with the cloud it changes everything in my budget. There is at least one other threading already discussing this issue. if it does not get resolved in two weeks weeks I am requesting a refund. Lets see if Quicken honors there "30 day Money back guarantee"

You might as well get your refund now, there is no way that is going to be fixed in the next two weeks.

I can see this issue with the budget getting overwritten after Cloud Sync is enabled, has been an issue for quite some time. I’m a long time Quicken user. Recently, after the shutdown of Mint, I setup a budget and turned on Cloud Sync to use in its place. This took quite a bit of effort. I was pretty disappointed when I had to turn off Cloud Sync. Being able to access my Quicken data from a mobile device was the whole purpose of my new setup. Hoping the Quicken team is escalating this issue now that a lot of us really need a Financial application that supports mobile devices.

    PS> I’m on Quicken for Windows R53.32 Build 27.1.53.32

Another user has proposed a fix to allow budget and mobile sync to peacefully coexist:

If you don't want the data saved on QCloud to overwrite the data on your desktop, you need to RESET your QCloud before synchronizing.

To do so: click on [Edit], [Preferences], [Mobile & Web]. Then, click [Reset your cloud data].

Your data on the QCloud will be erased and replaced by data on your desktop.
