Budget Line Item incorrect

One item in Income Budget is showing negative in Actuals. It is a reminder, and all others are correct. This item is correct in both Bills and Calendar

By any chance is it in a category group that is mixing both income and expenses categories?

It's a Social Security cheque, so yes, there is income, tax witheld and Medicare payment. Did not have this problem last year

That isn't what I meant, so I suspect what I was fishing for isn't the problem.

Just so what I was saying is clear:

In a budget the top "categories" are actually "category groups". Like Personal Income, and Personal Expenses are category groups. You can create custom category groups and put whatever categories you want into them, but the budget doesn't always work right if you say have a category group called "My Group" and include both Salary, and Fuel in the same group.

Provides that your social security income is in one category group, and the other expenses are in another category group that doesn't have any income in it, this is a different problem.

One thing I can suggest is trying Validate and Repair and see if that changes it.

File → Validate and Repair File → select Validate file → OK
