I was using 2016 on prior pc. Would like to use 2013 on new pc. Can I convert files from 2016>2013?
I am running Windows 11. I did not mind 2016 so much, but I could not move it to the new pc from the old pc. I could not find help on how to do that.

Only by doing .QIF file exports and imports. The data files are not backward compatible.
I've done it and its a lot of work.

Thankyou splasher. I had been going over that process in my mind and imagining what a mess it would be.

When I did it, I decided to not worry about investment accounts since mine are all at one brokerage which made it not as difficult. There was no need to have them in Quicken to see a "combined view of investments" since the brokerage website provided that.
If you have two computers or have virtual machine knowledge/capability, you can do it without abandoning your current QW2016 installation, which means that you have less urgency to get it done quickly.
